Sharon's grandkids Grace and Joshua spent the night with her recently, and had fun sleeping together with Grandma in her bed. It was so crowded that Sharon's Bichon Frise, Petal, had a hard time figuring out where to sleep. She wandered around and finally settled down on Sharon's left side below her sling.

Sharon had given Grace a bath before bedtime and forgot to let the water out of the tub. In the middle of the night she heard a big splash. Petal, as is her custom, jumped into the tub to get a drink of water. OOPS!! After some frantic paddling around, the poor, panicky pup was rescued and quickly wrapped in a towel. Sharon had to spend quite a bit of time trying to get Petal dried out before she would allow her dog back on the bed. "The look on her face was hysterical," Sharon reports. "I wonder how long it will take her to do that again."

Grace and Joshua slept soundly through the whole incident.
