The Paulsens' cabin is about 700' lower elevation than the church and its surrounding neighborhood, so they got considerably less snow over New Year's Day weekend than their friends "up the hill." But they still got their fair share!

	Laurie usually tries to share in the duty of carrying in firewood from their shed. On this cold, snowy weekend, however, Eric made sure the woodstove stayed well-supplied, without her having to step foot outside!
